A way to keep protocols and devices safe could be by changing your password often and something that you will only guess. Don't let anyone know what your password even if its a best friend also things like emails and Facebook. Another thing is while your computer is turned on do not leave yourself logged, one simple reason you could get hacked by someone.
Turn your Bluetooth off when you are not using it to stop people sending you stuff and hacking you easy when you don't have an eye on it
Wi-fi SafeFirewall software, for blocking hackers and other threats, exists within both Windows and Mac OS X, although many people have complaints about the firewall in Windows Vista. The firewall built into Mac OS X is actually very good.

but it merits inclusion here as well because of how well it works for photography. The 17.3-inch screen is particularly bright and larger than the standard 15.6-inch display. It’s also LED-backlit and perfect for viewing photos or videos at high resolution.
The internal specifications are also top-of-the-line. The Intel Core i7-2670QM is backed up with 8GB RAM and, particularly important for photography, is the inclusion of AMD’s Radeon HD 7690M XT graphics card. This impressive GPU will kick in whenever you’re doing anything graphically intensive – such as editing streams of HD footage.
What will also make it attractive as a photographer’s laptop is that the Envy 17 comes pre-installed with Adobe Photoshop Elements 9 and Adobe Premier Elements 9 – premium software suites that will let you get started editing immediately. Thankfully, the Envy 17 also comes with a stonking 1.5TB hard drive – so no matter how large your video files or albums get, you’ll have the space to spare.
you can share the pictures with the share botten to facebook or twitter etc.

Wi-Fi For IPhone.
Having access to Wi-Fi on an iPhone allows you to minimize the impact on your data plan and, ultimately, your phone bill. Being able to use Wi-Fi for Internet access when you are near an available wireless network means you can use online services without worrying about how much data you're using up. Accessing Wi-Fi on an iPhone is straightforward, as the user interface is designed to give you control and ease of use.
To find available networks in the current area for the iPhone to connect to, choose "Settings," then "Wi-Fi" and any networks detected will be displayed. Tapping on a network will make the iPhone attempt to make a connection to it. The "Wi-Fi" icon will appear in the status bar when you are connected to a network, with the number of bars indicating the strength of your connection. The connection strength depends on the network itself and on how far you are located from it.
Bluetooth.
Tap the entry for the Bluetooth accessory when it's detected by the iPhone and displayed on the screen. If the accessory requires you to enter a passkey to complete the connection, enter the number when prompted by the iPhone. The iPhone can now use Bluetooth to operate in conjunction with the accessory.

2. General
3. Bluetooth
4. Slide the "Bluetooth" switch to "ON."
5. Put your Bluetooth accessory into its discoverable mode.
3G
3G is the short form used for third-generation technology. There are few technologies in the history of mankind where there has been so much hype, followed by so much dissapointment, but it looks like the 3G providers have finally got their act together in 2008, and have started delivering the 3G mobile broadband services that we have all been waiting for.

SMS
Cellphones are not really that new anymore, they have been around for a long time and new models are being released weekly, producing something more advanced and capable every single time. sms stands for short messaging service and it is when a text message is sent over a wireless phone system. The message then appears on the recipient’s screen of their cell phone. Normally text messages can go up to 160 characters but that is for a 1 page SMS, you can go to more characters but it is going to cost for every SMS you send. For example, if you send a SMS that has 480 characters, you will be charged for 3 SMS’.
Sending or receiving text messages requires no phone calls and when you receive a SMS, you will not be charged, only the person who sends the SMS will be charged. You can even receive messages while you are on a call; it has no interference with your phone calls at all. SMS has been around for about 16 years now and it is frequently used in Asia and Europe, but now it also big in North America. Text messages can be sent all over the world, as long as there is reception. It has to be associated with a GPRS wireless network.

Blackberry bold 9900.
BlackBerry has been up against it recently, its handsets really only holding their own based on people's love of the form factor and their abilities at basic phone duties. When it came to apps, web browsing, and other smartphone fripperies, though, they lagged well behind. Research In Motion hopes to change all that with its latest handset, the BlackBerry Bold 9900. Available now for around £415 SIM free, it's not cheap but is just about on the money for a premium handset.
